How does it work?
Bank of Clarke County’s app is designed specifically for your device. The app can be opened with just a tap and has a faster load time because it is saved locally on your device.

How do I activate my device?
There are several ways to download the app.  For an easier activation process, we recommend downloading it directly to your device, but you may also download the app by using Bank of Clarke County’s online banking.

Through your device: To download the Bank of Clarke County’s app, simply click the appropriate store link or search for "Bank of Clarke County" in the App or Google Play store. Once the download is complete, do the following:

  • Enter your User ID
  • Answer a security question selected during your initial online banking enrollment
  • Verify your image and enter your password
  • Read and accept the Terms and Conditions

Online banking: To access the app using online banking:

  • Login to your Bank of Clarke County’s online banking account.
  • Go to Services > Mobile Banking
  • First time Users: Click Enroll.  You will need to carefully read the Mobile Banking Terms and Conditions and check the box to indicate that you agree to them.
  • Returning Users: Click Manage Devices.  At the drop down list, click “Change my Mobile Banking services”.
  • Select the app store appropriate to your device or enter your mobile number to receive a text including the link to the app.  

Can I pay bills using the mobile app?
To pay bills using our app, you must currently be enrolled in on our online banking bill pay service.  Once enrolled, the "Payments" menu option will be available on your device.  You cannot add new payees on your device, however, and you will be able to view, schedule or cancel payments. You can only add new payees when signed into Bill Pay on your personal computer.

How do I activate my device?
For an easier activation process, we recommend using your personal computer to activate Bank of Clarke County’s mobile browser. Please have your device with you during the activation process.

  • Log in to your Bank of Clarke County online banking account.
  • Go to Services > Mobile Banking.
  • First time Users: Click Enroll. You will need to carefully read the Mobile Banking Terms and Conditions and check the box to indicate that you agree to them.
  • Returning Users: Click Manage Devices.  At the drop down list, click “Change my Mobile Banking services” or “Get a link to the Mobile Banking website”.
  • You will receive a text message including the activation code.  When prompted, enter the activation code within online banking.
  • You will receive a link to our mobile browser.  Click the link.
  • Select Log In.
  • Answer a security question selected during your initial online banking enrollment.
  • Verify your image and enter your password.

Can I pay bills using the mobile browser?

Bank of Clarke County offers mobile banking options for any device capable of sending and receiving text messages.  Enjoy the many benefits of text banking:

  • View history
  • Locate a branch or ATM location

How do I activate my phone?
For an easier activation process, we recommend using your personal computer to activate text banking. Please have your device with you during the activation process.

  • Log in your Bank of Clarke County online banking account.
  • Go to Services > Mobile Banking.
  • First time Users: Click Enroll.  You will need to carefully read the Mobile Banking Terms and Conditions and check the box to indicate that you agree to them.
  • Returning Users: Click Manage Devices.  At the drop down list, click “Change my Mobile Banking services”.
  • You will receive a text message including the activation code. When prompted, enter the activation code within online banking.
  • You will receive a link stating text banking has been activated on your phone.

How does it work?
Once your device is activated, simply send any of the below text commands to 65958 to instantly receive real-time account information.

Balance:  BAL (Summary of available balances for all accounts)

History: HIST + Mobile Banking Nickname (Summary of recent transactions per account)

Find ATM locations: ATM + Street or Zip (List of ATM’s with that Street address or Zip code)

Find Branch locations: Branch + Street or Zip (List of Branches with that Street address or Zip code)

Can I use text banking to transfer money or pay bills?
No. Those functions are only available through the mobile browser or app.

Will I receive unsolicited text messages?
No. You will only receive messages when you specifically request them with one of the text banking commands.
